Raw milk is important for many people.

The access to this ‘elixir of health’ should not be taken for granted. We must be steadfast in our vigilance to protect and promote the right to control the food we eat, and the milk we drink.

F-A-R-M.org has been created with this goal in mind. Through a network of raw milk producers, consumers and advocates we can insure a reliable, healthy and secure supply of real milk in Florida. But nothing good comes easy. It will take the efforts of many to afford this precious substance the true protection it deserves.

So how can you lend energy to this organization? Pour

The most important thing that you can give is your time. Whether it’s 5 or 10 minutes a week to write your representative or talk to your neighbor about raw milk, or an hour every other week to help coordinate the direction of the group, your energy is needed. There are many things that we can get done, and if the load is spread amongst many, the burden for each will be lighter. We’ve completed work on an informational brochure and recruitment flyer. Our short- term goal is acquiring display materials, so we can more effectively carry our message to the people. A website expansion is in the works also. We are in the formative stages, so the more that are involved, the more we can get done.

The second most important thing we need is green energy. Like it or not, will we have to spend money to get the message out, and bring people together, for the cause.

Our initial request for donations has gotten us a bit to start, but there is much more we need to get done, and the costs will be there.
